Summary: | NATURAL FIBRE PARTICLE REINFORCED COMPOSITES 5 The disclosed invention provides natural fibre particle reinforced composite material which composite comprises waste (dry) materials of punica grantum leaves, roots, branches of fibers modified to powder form, hen eggs shells modified to fine powder. The said composite has good elastic and mechanical properties and has very low water absorption. The said composite having a 10 low water retention property with retention being in a range of 3 % to 6% with a said soaking time. In this invention said waste (dry) materials of punica grantum leaves,roots,branches of fibers ,hen egg shells are modified in to fine powder form (50% wt) were fabricated with matrix (50% wt) of bio epoxy resin using hand layup technique. The disclosure includes the process to make the 15 composite and also its use in variety of products in housing, roofing, automobile and packaging industry, etc. |
