Summary:A security inspection device (100) and a control method therefor. The security inspection device (100) comprises: a bottom plate (1) configured to bear an object to be inspected (40); a two-dimensional multiple-input multiple-output array panel (20) disposed on the bottom plate (1), being in parallel to same, and comprising: at least one two-dimensional multiple-input multiple-output sub-array, each two-dimensional multiple-input multiple-output sub-array comprising a plurality of transmitting antennas (Tx) and a plurality of receiving antennas (Rx) which are arranged to enable the equivalent phase center to be arranged into a two-dimensional array; and a control circuit (22) configured to control the plurality of transmitting antennas (Tx) to transmit a detection signal in the form of an electromagnetic wave to said object (40) by the preset order, and control the plurality of receiving antennas (Rx) to receive an echo signal from said object (40); a signal processing means (30) configured to reconstruct, according to the received echo signal, an image of said object (40); and a display means (50) configured to display the reconstructed image of said object (40).
