Summary:A conveyor pan (1) for a chain scraper conveyor comprises a bottom plate (4) and a pair of side profiles (2, 3) fixed to the bottom plate (4) by welding. The conveyor pan (1) has an increased wear resistance, in particular due to a specific geometry of a weld groove formed between the profile rails (5, 6) of the side profile (2, 3) and the bottom plate (4). The weld groove extends deeper into each profile rail (5, 6), resulting in a more durable weld connection during use of the conveyor pan (1). In addition, a geometry of a pocket member (11) for connecting adjacent conveyor pans (1) and an inspection opening formed in the bottom plate (4) have also been improved to result in an increased strength of the conveyor pan (1).
