Abstract The present invention relates to the field of home appliances, and discloses an enclosure and a cooking appliance. The enclosure comprises an enclosure body (2) arranged around a cooker body (1) and a decorative cover (3) arranged on a top end surface of the enclosure body (2), wherein the enclosure body (2) is provided with a mounting part (4) at its front end, the decorative cover (3) is mounted to the mounting part (4) and has an assembling surface at the back side of the mounting part (4), and the assembling surface and the top end surface of the enclosure body (2) are configured to contact with a top cover assembly. In the present utility model, the enclosure is configured into a split structure composed of an enclosure body and a decorative cover, so that the decorative cover and the top cover assembly may be made of the same material conveniently, the color of the decorative cover may be selected appropriately and separately, and thereby uniform color matching is realized between the decorative cover part and the top cover assembly, i.e., the entire top part of the cooking appliance is in a uniform color.
