Summary:The invention relates to a composition and a method for producing a solid extractant for recovering scandium from sulphurous solutions. A solid extractant is proposed for the recovery of scandium from scandium-containing solutions, which extractant comprises a styrene-divinylbenzene matrix with di-(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid. Furthermore, said extractant additionally comprises tri-n-octylphosphine oxide, tributyl phosphate and isododecane with the following ratio of components, by wt%: 32.0 - 37.5 di-(2-ethylheyxl)phosphoric acid, 4.2 - 8.0 tri-n-octylphosphine oxide, 0.8 - 1.7 tributyl phosphate, 16.7 - 20.0 isododecane, the remainder styrene-divinylbenzene, wherein the ratio of styrene to divinylbenzene in the matrix, by wt%, is 75-80 to 20-25. A method for the production of the abovementioned solid extractant is also proposed. The technical result is the production of a scandium-selective solid extractant with a high dynamic exchange capacity.
