Summary:A system for measurement automation of a fluid injected into a patient includes a reservoir, a fluid injection apparatus, and a measurement automation apparatus. The fluid injection apparatus includes a delivery conduit, an injector for injecting the fluid into the patient, a diverter assembly disposed between the delivery conduit and the injector, and a connector between the diverter assembly and delivery conduit. The diverter assembly is configured to divert at least a portion of the fluid away from an injection fluid path between the injector and the delivery conduit to the reservoir. The measurement automation apparatus includes an injector sensor module, a reservoir sensor module, a processer configured to receive the data from the sensor modules, and a display.
