Summary: | The present invention relates to a radial tyre (10) for a heavy duty civil engineering vehicle and, more specifically, the sidewalls (20) thereof, to minimise the temperature of the tyre while ensuring the electrical conductivity thereof. The tread (30) comprises two tread flanges (31) and a central portion (32). According to the invention, the bead layer (71), the elastomeric mixture for coating the carcass layer (50), the second sidewall layer (22) and the tread flange (31) provide a preferential conductive path for the electric charges between the rim and the ground when the tyre is mounted on the rim thereof and forced against the ground. |
