Summary: | An expandable apparatus comprises a tubular 104 having a first outer diameter, and an expandable packer 100 attached to the tubular 104. The expandable packer 100 5 comprises an outer tubular 102 having an inner diameter larger than the first outer diameter, a packer outer diameter, and a non-uniform outer profile having a reduced packer outer diameter section 108 between packer outer diameter sections 106. Upon expansion of the expandable packer 100, undulations 109 are created on the outer tubular. The expandable packer 100 is attached to an outer surface of the tubular 10 104, and the tubular includes a port for fluid communication between a bore of the tubular and an annular area formed between the tubular 104 and the expandable packer 100. The packer may further include a grit 110. A method of isolating multiple zones in a wellbore is also disclosed. 15 FIGURE 2 FOR PUBLICATION j(I 106 h ~~102 |
