Summary: | The present invention addresses the problem of producing a wire for use as a net material that is resistant to physical damage, suppresses salt-induced corrosion, and is able to minimize adverse effects on organisms. Provided is an organism-repellent multilayer resin-coated metal wire equipped with an ion emission layer that comprises a resin metal kneaded material obtained by mixing a metal-containing powder, which can emit a metal ion that exhibits organism-repellence, into a polyolefin or polyester base resin; wherein the ion emission layer is on the surface of a resin-coated wire in which a plated wire, which comprises a zinc-containing plating layer on the surface of a steel wire, is coated, via an adhesive layer, with a protective layer comprising an ionomer resin. |
