Conjugate comprising erythropoietin and a branched polymer structure
The invention relates to: a conjugate comprising erythropoietin (EPO) and an asymmetric branched polymer structure having two monomethoxy-poly(ethylene glycol) (mPEG) branches, wherein the molecular mass of one of said mPEG branches is between 10 kDa and 14 kDa, and the molecular mass of the other m...

Summary: | The invention relates to: a conjugate comprising erythropoietin (EPO) and an asymmetric branched polymer structure having two monomethoxy-poly(ethylene glycol) (mPEG) branches, wherein the molecular mass of one of said mPEG branches is between 10 kDa and 14 kDa, and the molecular mass of the other mPEG branch is between 17 kDa and 23 kDa; and pharmaceutical compositions containing said conjugate. The invention also relates to a method for producing PEGylated EPO, characterised in that said protein is conjugated to an asymmetric branched polymer structure, having two mPEG branches with the above-mentioned molecular masses. |
