Summary:The work of connecting a harness to a control board from the front side of an outdoor unit is difficult. In order to address this problem, an outdoor unit according to the present invention is provided with: a casing for accommodating a compressor and a heat exchanger; a terminal block mounting plate (19) disposed near the side of the casing and having terminal blocks (19a) to which power source lines from an indoor unit are connected; and a control board (17), which is disposed within the casing to face the terminal block mounting plate (19), inclined so that the distance between the control board (17) and the terminal block mounting plate (19) lessens toward the back side of the outdoor unit. The terminal block mounting plate (19) is configured to be pivotable away from the control board (17).
