The surgical device (11) comprises: a jaw portion (11a), having a first jaw (50) in opposed correspondence with a second jaw (80); a shaft portion (1 1b) coupled to a proximal end of the jaw portion (1 la); a handle (1103) defining a longitudinal axis (D), the handle (1103) including a first rotatable drive shaft (11 10a) and a second rotatable drive shaft (11 10b); at least one motor of a plurality of motors (96, 100) configured to rotate the shaft portion (1 1b) of the surgical device (11) relative to the handle (1103); a flexible shaft (1620) for coupling the surgical device (11) to the plurality of motors (96, 100) in a remote power console housing (1614); a plurality of steering cables (1634 - 1637) disposed within a length of the flexible shaft (1620); and a data transfer cable (1638) extending the length of the flexible shaft (1620).
