Summary:An apparatus and method is provided that allows users to easily and rapidly search and locate parts of pages in an e-book that they have read, even though the form of pages has changed. The apparatus and method for displaying pages on an electronic mobile device includes: displaying at least one page of a plurality of pages of an e-book; detecting the presence of an event; changing the form of the displayed pages to a form corresponding to the detected event; and displaying the difference between the forms before and after the change.
