Summary:A user equipment implements a method of processing indication messages, such as SCRI (signalling connection release indication) messages. The user equipment (UE) maintains a count of how many indication messages with a cause set have been sent by the UE while in at least one radio resource control (RRC) state. Various conditions are provided for resetting the count. These include receiving packet switched (PS) data by the UE and transmitting packet switched (PS) data.
