Summary: | The invention relates to an elongated security feature (40) for security papers, value documents or similar, said feature having a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction running perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and having a magnetic layer (44) that is situated on a support and that contains machine-readable magnetic regions. According to the invention, the magnetic layer comprises a plurality of frame-type magnetic elements (44, 62, 72, 82, 84) that contain the machine-readable magnetic regions and that are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the elongated security feature (40). A plastic carrier film, on which the frame-type magnetic elements (44, 62, 72, 82, 84) are located, forms the support for said security feature. The frame-type magnetic elements (44, 62, 72, 82, 84) cover the entire width of the support film in the transverse direction. |
