Summary:Disclosed is an ophthalmic photography apparatus wherein the positional control of a two-aperture diaphragm required for stereo photography can be performed more accurately and surely by a simple, inexpensive, compact and lightweight constitution. The ophthalmic photography apparatus comprises a two-aperture diaphragm (28) having two diaphragm apertures (28a, 28b), and a shutter plate (302) for opening/closing one of the two diaphragm apertures, wherein the two-aperture diaphragm (28) is moved to intersect the optical axis such that the two diaphragm apertures (28a, 28b) are positioned at a first position located substantially in the center of the optical axis in a monaural photography, but positioned at a second position located eccentrically from the optical axis in a stereo photography.  Furthermore, a drive mechanism consisting of a cam plate (303), a spring (304) and a rotary solenoid (301) is employed, which moves the shutter plate (302) so as to close one (28a) of the two diaphragm apertures at the first position, and to open both the two diaphragm apertures (28a, 28b) at the second position.
