Summary: | The present invention concerns a method and a system for controlling the relative position between a printed pattern and a non-printed pattern, such as for example a pattern of creasing lines or holes, on a running web-shaped material, by providing the material web with at least one impressed indentation mark with a three-dimensional topographic configuration, at a pre-determined distance from a printed register mark and detecting the marks with a same sensor control system. According to a further aspect of the invention said controlling method and system is used for the manufacturing of a laminated packaging material, having a printed décor and creased folding lines in register. |
