Summary:The present invention relates to an elastic joint body (10) for a shaft arrangement for the articulated connection of two shaft sections to a plurality of bushings (14) which are arranged in the circumferential direction at predetermined angular distances with respect to a centre line (M) of the joint body (10), a plurality of loop bundles (18, 20, 22, 24), wherein each loop bundle (18, 20, 22, 24) loops around two adjoining bushings (14) and each bushing (14) is looped by at least two loop bundles (18, 20, 22, 24), one of which can be subjected to tensile loads and the other one to thrust loads in case of torque transmission via the shaft sections. The invention further comprises a support device (26) arranged on at least one bushing (14) for the axial guidance of the plurality of loop bundles (18, 20, 22, 24), and a rubber-elastic casing (12) into which the loop bundles (18, 20, 22, 24), the support devices (26) and the bushings (14) are at least partially embedded. According to the invention, the support device (26) comprises at least two bundle elements (16, 28) which are designed separate from each other and can be attached to the bushing, one of each resting against the loop bundle (18) subjected to tensile loads at opposite axial ends, wherein the axial position of the bundle elements (16, 28) relative to the bushing (14) is predetermined according to a predetermined target cross-section of the loop bundle (18, 20, 22, 24) to be supported.
