Summary: | A method or process for removing suspended solids from water. The method entails utilizing floating particles that include a flocculant material secured or coated to the floating particles. The floating particles are directed into a lower portion of a treatment zone and as the floating particles with the attached flocculant material move upwardly through the water, suspended solids attach or agglomerate on the floating particles. Once at the surface level of the water being treated, the floating particles can be removed and a cleaning process can be implemented where the suspended solids attached or agglomerated around the floating particles can be removed and the cleaned floating particles can be recycled and used for further water treatment. |
