Summary:A secondary battery system converts DC power supplied from secondary batteries (B1 to B3) to AC power using power inverters (INV1 to INV3) and supplies the converted AC power to a power system on the load side. The secondary battery system includes a controller (1) for, when a remaining amount of the secondary battery corresponding to a power inverter which is running reaches less than or equal to a predetermined level of a remaining amount of the secondary battery corresponding to a power inverter which is suspended, stopping the power inverter which is running and starting operation of the power inverter which is suspended.
