Summary:The linear peptides comprises eleven amino acids. The amino acid comprising the C-terminal end is in carboxamide form. The linear peptides have general formula X 1-X 2-Lys-Leu-Phe-Lys-Lys-Ile-Leu-Lys-X 3-Leu-NH 2. X 1hydrogen, acetyl, p-toluene sulphonyl, benzyl, benzoyl; X 2lysine, tyrosine, leucine, phenylalanine, or tryptophan; X 3lysine, tyrosine, valine, phenylalanine, or tryptophan Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a plant health composition with a peptide and auxiliary agent (2) a method for preventing and treating plant infections and diseases caused by bacteria.
