Summary:There are disclosed compounds of formula (I), wherein W is -O-, -S-, alpha or -CH2-; X is O, S, NR , CH=CH, CH=N or N=CH; Y is -CH2O-, -CH2S-, beta , -O-, -S-, psi , delta , epsilon or phi ; R is lower alkyl, perfluoroloweralkyl or phenyl substituted with R ; R is hydrogen or lower alkyl; R , R and R are each independently hydrogen, lower alkyl, nitro, trifluoromethyl, halo, lower alkoxy, lower alkoxycarbonyl or lower alkanoyloxy; n is 0-1; m is 0-10; and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and their use in the treatment of leukotriene-mediated naso-bronchial obstructive airpassageway conditions, such as allergic rhinitis, allergic bronchial asthma and the like, in psoriasis, ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis as well as in other immediate hypersensitivity reactions.
