Summary:The present invention provides sustained release uncoated microtablets comprising Tolterodine Tartrate. These micro-tablets are capable of releasing the API in more than 8 hours and are thus capable of providing a once daily formulation for the said API. In addition the microtablets have a diameter of 2-3mm and as a result may provide multiparticulate dosage forms with similar in vivo behavior to the coated spheroids.
