An electrochemical determination system for detecting proteolytic enzyme activity or concentration, comprising an assortment of sensors (10a, 10b, 10c), where the working electrode (14a) of each sensor is covered with a reagent of a proteolytic enzyme and has a substrate which releases leaving groups via enzyme action. A measuring apparatus (20) has an electronic circuit imposing a current, whose intensity or voltage is or is not variable, between the electrodes, and receives in return a signal representing the release of the groups. An electronic apparatus (30) processes the signal and displays, on a display screen (32), an indication representing the release as a function of time.
