Summary: | The antiseptic preparation comprises an alignate and an antiseptic substance. The antiseptic substance is selected from the group of biguanide derivatives, octenidine, and taurolidine. The alginate is water soluble and comprises alkali-alginate, particularly sodium alginate, magnesium alginate and ammonium alginate. The water insoluble alignate includes calcium or zinc alignate. The water soluble antiseptic preparation has salts of chlorhexidine, octenidine, polyhexamethylene biguanides. The salts are polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride, chlorhexidene dihydrochloride, chlorhexidene diacetate, chlorhexidine D-digluconate, octenidine-dihydrochloride and octenidine disacchride. The antiseptic preparation is impregnated with alginate fiber materials, which consists of polyacrylates, in particular carboxy methyl cellulose, synthetic fibers or super absorbers made from collagen, pectin, cellulose or cellulose derivatives.
