Summary:Chronograph watch has a crown shaft (11) to control the hour and minute hands (3, 4). In addition there are two push buttons (12, 13) for use in controlling the chronograph functions. The two buttons are associated with means for switching to a mode for controlling the position of the hands (8-10) of the chronograph. The means for changing the adjustment mode are operated independently of the crown shaft. An Independent claim is made for a method for controlling the position of the chronograph hands.
