Summary:The oven has a cooking enclosure (10) with base (12) and wall (11). Inside the enclosure is a plate (13) which rotates on the enclosure base. The wall (11) has elliptical sections (11a,11a') surrounding the plate. The wall section (11a) matches, for about 40 per cent, a circumscribed circle (C) around the plate. The wall sections are opposite to the oven opening (15) on its front face. The oven includes an electric transformer, a microwave generator, wave guide and electronic control card fitted on either side of the oven (10). The oven and its accessories are contained in a rectangular box enclosure which is ventilated. The control card and the ventilation system are fitted between the lateral panel of the box enclosure and the oven. The generator, transformer and wave guide are fitted between a oven and a second lateral panel of the box enclosure.
