Summary:Disclosed is a method of determining a path in a telecommunication network from a source node to a destination node, the telecommunication network comprising at least two layers, the method comprising: calculating at least one possible path between said source node and said destination node; and allocating a path among said at least one possible path. According to the invention, the step of calculating at least one possible path comprises taking into account both at least one path link of one of the at least two layers and at least one path link of another of the at least two layers.
