Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the storing process of experimental value by substituting the experimental measured value of the dynamic parameter of a viscoelastic material for a specified expression, determining the value of a parameter for generating a curve most approximate to the experimental curve passing all points of the measured value, and storing it. SOLUTION: A cylindrical sample is produced from a tire tread mix, and a torsion test is performed by use of an asphalt analyzing device. To elastic modulus and viscosity coefficient, 29 pairs of measured values are provided, respectively. These values are substituted for an expression followed by calculation, whereby the number of values to be stored can be reduced, for example, from 86 to 10. The average error of the elastic modulus calculated by this method is 2% of the measurement average value, while the maximum error of the calculated value is about 2.5% of the corresponding measured value. Similarly, the average error of the calculated viscosity coefficient is about 3.5% of the measurement average value, and the maximum error of the calculated value is about 5% of the corresponding measured value. |
