The gas-air mixing passage has a gas-air entry area (14), a gas-air mixing area (15) and a chamber (16), which is arranged on the gas supply side. A gas distributor (17) is arranged in the gas-air entry area. The burner surface and cooling channel form a material connection body, which is made of heat-conducting material, preferably aluminium.
