Summary:A cylindrically shaped ashtray can be carried along to a beach, lake or riverside, open air swimming pools and parks. In order to avoid that ashes and cigarette butts or the like be thrown away on the ground in the absence of adequate cans, the ashtray is made of three easily separable parts, namely a bottom part (1), an insert (4) and a lid (7). The insert (4) may be removed from the ashtray. The lid (7) can be locked on the bottom part (1) by means of a bayonet joint.
