Summary:The illuminated advertising sign according to the invention comprises (a) a frame and (b) a shroud made of transparent material surrounding the frame, the frame exhibiting fixing elements to mount the sign on a wall, a plate connected to these fixing elements and running vertically along the wall, at least one upper and at least one lower bracket mounted horizontally and vertically to the wall at the upper and lower end, respectively, of the wall plate and tubular lamps mounted vertically between the brackets, together with the requisite aids for electrical illumination and if necessary supporting brackets fitted between the upper and lower brackets, and the shroud, made of a transparent material comprising a front, back and edge together with cover and base, being produced in a size such that it can be pushed over the frame and fixed to it.
