Summary:In order to be able to carry out a measurement of the degree of capture on an operating cylinder of a two- stroke internal combustion engine which is close to series production while the engine is running a device with a sample container is proposed, the latter having a flow connection to the operating cylinder 6 through a removal line 1, a first valve 3 being provided in the removal line 1, and it being possible for the sample container 2 to be connected in terms of flow to a measuring device 9 via a first connecting line 8 having a second valve 7 and a suction pump 5.
