The examples describe the production of iron salts from the chloroarseno-behenolic acid obtained according to Example B described in the parent Specification. by neutralizing the methyl alcohol solution of the acid with alcoholic caustic soda and adding alcoholic ferric chloride; by adding an alcoholic solution of the acid to liquor ferri oxychlorati of the German Pliarmacopoeia; and by mixing a solution of basic iron acetate with alcohol and an alcoholic solution of the acid.
