Summary:Device for sealing off areas of the lining of a tunnel wall, which lining is formed by means of a sealing sheet 1 composed of webs which may be welded together and in which the sealing-off takes place by means of a welded-on strip 4 with seams 5 extending essentially along its periphery and possessing at least one web 6, 7 facing the tunnel wall. In order to be able to check the weld seams 5 for tightness in a simple manner, provision is made for spacers 9 to be arranged between the strip 4 and the sealing sheet 1 in the region intended for the weld seams 5 on the side remote from the at least one web 6, 7, the spacers possessing perforations and/or a continuous peripheral line within this region.
