Summary: | The device for feeding liquid, such as water under pressure, to discharge nozzles at the periphery of a shearing tool comprises a component 8 which is connected to the pick shank and plunges into a space 32 during axial displacement of the pick. The pressure built up in the space 32 passes to a discharge nozzle which has an axially displaceable nozzle needle 33. The nozzle needle 33, with increasing pressure of the liquid to be forced out, can be displaced for reducing the nozzle discharge cross section. |
