Summary: | Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), the most prevalent non-Hodgkin´s lymphoma, can manifest in the oral cavity. A 23-year-old male, presenting with pain linked to gingival swelling and weight loss over 45 days, sought consultation at the Stomatology clinic. Extra-oral examination revealed facial asymmetry and increased volume in the right cervical lymph node chain. Intraoral examination showed generalized gingival enlargement. Diagnostic measures, including panoramic imaging, chest x-rays, chest and abdomen computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) of the cervical lesion, indicated large cell lymphoma. Confirmation came through histopathological and immunohistochemical analysis. The patient was directed for antineoplastic treatment but succumbed to the condition merely two months post-diagnosis. |
