Study on the Pr-doped and Ce-doped YBa 2Cu 3O y system by XPS and Raman spectrum

A series of samples of Pr-doped and Ce-doped YBCO system were studied by XPS and Raman spectrum, respectively. It is found that the mechanisms of suppression or missing of superconductivity for the two systems are different. The possible mechanisms are discussed.
