[formula omitted] NMR study of charge ordering in AV 6O 15 (A=Ca, Na and Ag)

We made 51 V NMR experiments to study local magnetic properties of β-AV 6O 15 (A=Ca, Na and Ag). In CaV 6O 15 we observed at 149 K a change of the 51 V NMR spectrum accompanied by the charge ordering from a mixed valence state to an ordering state of V 4+ and V 5+. In NaV 6O 15 (AgV 6O 15) a change...

Summary:We made 51 V NMR experiments to study local magnetic properties of β-AV 6O 15 (A=Ca, Na and Ag). In CaV 6O 15 we observed at 149 K a change of the 51 V NMR spectrum accompanied by the charge ordering from a mixed valence state to an ordering state of V 4+ and V 5+. In NaV 6O 15 (AgV 6O 15) a change of the 51 V NMR spectrum due to the charge ordering was also observed at 130 (90) K. Thus, the charge ordering is a phase transition which commonly takes place in β-AV 6O 15 (A=Ca, Na and Ag).
