New flavonoids from Avicenniamarina

In addition to luteolin 7- O-methylether, chrysoeriol 7- O-glucoside and isorhamnetin 3- O-rutinoside, the methanol extract of the aerial parts of Avicennia marina yielded two new flavonoids identified as luteolin 7- O-methylether 3′- O-β- d-glucoside ( 1) and its galactoside analogue 2.
