Bose–Einstein correlations in a π 0–π 0 system

We argue that the π 0–π 0 correlation function can be extracted from the experimentally measured γ–γ correlation function. It has been explicitly shown how the π 0–π 0 source parameters can be inferred from the correlation function of two-gammas originating from the decaying π 0.
