Analysis of Cd V: II. 4d 75s-4d 75p transitions

Summary: | The spectrum of cadmium was photographed in the region 500–2300 Å on 6.65 and 10.7 m normal incidence spectrographs. The sources used were a triggered spark and a sliding spark. All 38 levels of the 4d
75s configuration and eleven unknown levels of the 4d
75p configuration of Cd V have been established. The previous analysis of the 4d
8-4d
75p transitions has been confirmed. The least-squares level fitting calculations support the analysis. 709 lines have been classified in the 4d
75s-4d
75p transition array out of which 39 are doubly and one triply classified. |
