Influence of anisotropy on d = 2 and d = 3 magnetic order in layer-type antiferromagnets K 2Mn 1− xFe xF 4

Single-crystals of K 2Mn 1− x Fe x F 4 with x = 2.3, 2.8, 6.1 and 12at.% have been studied by neutron diffraction and susceptibility experiments. The type and magnitude of the spin anisotropy change with x, which has a profound effect on the magnetic ordering phenomena.
