Summary:The energy gap of CuInS 2 single crystals grown by chemical vapor transport (CVT) method has been studied experimentally using wavelength modulation reflectance (WMR) and electrolyte electroreflectance (EER) measurements at room temperature. A three-point fit of WMR is presented to determine the energy gap from modulation spectrum. Our results show that the CVT single crystal CuInS 2 has direct energy gap at 1.535 ± 0.005 eV.
