2 1+ mixing at isobaric analog resonances in N ≈ 82 nuclei

Evidence is discussed for the mixing of single particle configuration built on the 2 1 + core into the isobaric analog resonances formed by proton scattering on nuclei in the N ≈ 82 region. Analysis of on-resonance angular distribution data for decay to the 2 1 + state has provided inelastic proton...

Summary:Evidence is discussed for the mixing of single particle configuration built on the 2 1 + core into the isobaric analog resonances formed by proton scattering on nuclei in the N ≈ 82 region. Analysis of on-resonance angular distribution data for decay to the 2 1 + state has provided inelastic proton partial widths and spectroscopic factors. It is shown that the parent analog wave functions are well described by including the above mixing.
