Recipe for high-T c transition-metal chalcogenide superconductors

The conditions for the occurrence of superconductivity in cuprates are enumerated. There is a minimum of seven, which are discussed in some detail. They may be taken as a recipe in the search for superconductors at elevated temperature with other transition-metal chalcogenide compounds.
