Zeeman patterns are calculated in the static crystal field model for Mn 2+ at a site with and without inversion symmetry, respectively. In the first case only magnetic dipole transitions are possible, in the latter, electric dipole transitions are allowed. The presence of a strong Jahn-Teller effect will change the Zeeman patterns drastically. Zum Studium des 4T 1 Zustandes des Mn 2+-Ions werden Messungen des optischen Zeeman-Effekts vorgeschlagen. Es werden Zeeman-Spektren berechnet mithilfe des statischen Kristallfeld-Modells für Mn 2+ auf Gitterstellen mit und ohne Inversions-symmetrie. Im ersten Fall sind nur magnetische Dipol Übergänge erlaubt, im zweiten Fall auch elektrische Dipol Übergänge. Das Vorhanden sein eines starken Jahn-Teller Effekts kann das Zeeman-Spektum drastisch ändern.
