Summary:Niğde province, which is located in the transitive zone between Interior Anatolia and Mediterranean Regions, has always represented net migration deficit since beginning of migration statistics. Thus, migration factors and migration characteristics of Niğde were chosen to examine in this study. In this Context, several factors were examined such as natural, human and economic characteristics of Niğde as migration factors. Some of natural and human factors were determined as negative factor for the Province Niğde. These results showed that migration pattern was determined by the natural and human properties of the Province. In addition, characteristics of Migration activities have been examined by using several statistical data which cover several periods
