Summary:This paper aims to discuss the cultural production of children within the institutions of early childhood education in the field of research and teaching. With this order takes on a pesquisa developed in 2000 and 2001 in a public nursery school in the municipality of Florianópolis, with a group of seven boys and nine girls between 1 and 3 years of age. This study had the objective to give visibility to creative actions in moments of childhood education and care of sleep, food and hygiene.
