Summary: | Objective To explore the clinical effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)decoction cupping combined with wet compress therapy in the treatment of hemiplegia caused by stroke. Methods Totally 120 patients with hemiplegia caused by stroke were selected. According to TCM nursing interventions provided, they were divided into routine Chinese medicine rehabilitation training group (group A), TCM decoction cupping group (group B) and TCM decoction cupping combined with wet compress therapy group (Group C). The improvement of motor function was evaluated by the simplified Fugl-Meyer Motor Function Assessment Scale (FMA), the recovery of limb muscle strength was evaluated by Lovett's scale before and after treatment, and the improvement of daily living ability were evaluated by Modified Barthel Index (MBI). Patients' satisfaction with TCM nursing treatment was evaluated by self-made questionnaire. Results The symptoms of all patients were significantly relieved after TCM nursing treatment.
